In many cases, what comes up under a Google search will be your first impression. Manage your online self-branding. Know what is on the internet concerning yourself. Does it reflect well on you? If not take it down. Make sure everything online is appropriate to your business image. Take down inappropriate material and make sure you have good stuff about yourself online.
Don’t be afraid to show your accomplishments but avoid bragging. Open a social media account if you do not have one. Interact with customers, colleagues, and the leaders in your industry. Your web presence is part of your first impression. So make it a good one!
